Good luck getting help when you need it. The employees are either nowhere to be found, acting like they don't see/hear you, or don't know the answer. But the fun begins at checkout where there always seems to be a shortage of cashiers. If you know what you want, where it's located, and aren't in a hurry, then I guess you're okay. Otherwise, avoid.

Customer Service SUCKS!! A store FULL of employees talking to each other and NOT ONE employee asked if I needed help. 3 times I could have used their help with the each item costing over $100-$150. I just left my buggy and walked out. I would rather spend my money at Lowes. I will NEVER step inside Home Depot in Gonzales again.

My husband is a Retired Vet. I called Home Depot and asked about refrigerators that were on sale. I also asked the woman in the appliance department if they would honor their l0% discount with the price of the sales on the refrigerator and she told me NO.....that was "double dipping" and I couldn't do that. So I went to Lowe's where I bought a refrigerator on sale and they honored my military discount. I got $156. off of the refrigerator that already was on sale. I don't think I was "double dipping". I was merely asking for the 10% discount that Home Depot advertises for the veterans. Lowe's honors your 10% discount whether the item is on sale or not.......Kudo's to Lowe's!!!! They will have all of my business!!!!
