The fare was fair. Fries were soggy and I ordered a burger done Medium, recieved it done well. Was told beer was 4$, charged 5$. Waited way too long for a subpar meal and to be misinformed and overcharged.Food: 3/5
Food was great, delicious. Staff was nice. Prices are reasonably average. Setting is pleasant, with Fire Dept. memories. TVs line the place and sporta games arw playing. Listen, I rate places because as a consumer myself I tend to go off of people's reviews- all we have is us.. because businesses will always say they're the best with nothing evwr evwr wrong... well tonight I was drawn to this place and wanted to eat there. I arrived and almost left due to something so simple- I'll phrase it like this- I almost left because the seat could have been cleaned better. We're easing out of Covid restrictions and to see this makes me feel like the laws are real laxed up here. Food crumbs in the seat is too easy of a clean up to lose customers. Other than that I liked the place. Food was very well seasoned and tasteful...and affordable as I mentioned.
We got treated by friends for early Mother's day the food is excellent, everything is made fresh to order apps and dinners were delicious.
first of all we were the only party and it took extremely long for our food to come. two of us asked for no onions and both received onions. one of us ordered fish and the appearance was very unappetizing.
There's a lot of improvement needed. First, there's no road signage and it can't be seen from the road; it's in a Best Western that's set back from the road and also not really visible. There are only like 5 parking spaces near the entrance otherwise you have to use the hotel lot. The inside of the restaurant is nice, clean, had comfortable seats, and maintained the firefighter theme. Unfortunately the AC was set to freeze, but otherwise the interior was nice. The service was really bad though. I went in as part of a group of 4 and there were only 2 people at the bar. We were introduced to our waiter immediately but he was extremely ineffective especially given how dead the place was. The whole time he tried to be too chummy, insisted he had our order by memory, forgot my drink, forgot to put in my food order, when he came to say the food would take a little longer I asked for another drink which he promptly forgot. The food was alright at best - basically just bar food and the fries were very soggy. When I got my first beer he poured rhe bottle into a glass but just dumped it straight in so it was all head and there was about a third of a bottle left, then tried to say that 'that's how IPAs pour' I didn't let him pour the second. To top it off, towards the end he PULLED UP A CHAIR TO OUR TABLE and started talking to one of our party about how he wanted to make the place better and asking for feedback. We had plenty to give but what he did was weird and made everyone uncomfortable.
The food wasn't great but customer service was excellent. I got order to go so can't rate atmosphere. There should be a n/a option on these reviews.Food: 1/5
Service and food was great. 1st time trying it and I'll be back.. had the fish tacos and an awesome local craft beer from new england brewery!.. great server Maria food is still awesome. Band was pretty cool... Had the same server Maria and she was great
Open on Easter so I popped in for dinner when visiting my daughter at college. Excellent waitress who was also running the bar. Went out of her way to help me order a meal without creams, butter or breading. Smile on her face... delicious food! So glad we found it. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating!
The food was excellent. The only disappointment was the cutlery - very cheap. When eating great food which was moderately priced, the silverware should match the quality!
I don't know who the mgr. or owner is but you are spending money to hire music to attract people and then you have a disaster of a kitchen and no staff. We were a party of 6 last week, took 1 hour to get a drink at 6:30 not that busy and the food didn't come until 9. The food was completely unacceptable. The poor 3 ppl. working had NO idea what they were doing. They didn't know where the food went people who came in much later than use ate first, couldn't get a drink etc. The burgers were raw, fish was burnt and soggy with grease uneatable. We ordered a 2nd round of drinks yes that was because since 6:30- till the time our food came 9... we couldn't get a drink, and... the 2nd round never came. While we completely appreciate the fact that you are supporting live music, IF we come back we will plan on eating somewhere else and will drink water if we can't get a drink. Our bill was comped which was appreciated however, there were very few happy people that night and the place was packed. You need to have an owner or mgr. on shift. I ran a restaurant and was ready to jump in I felt so bad for your employees.
