Service and food was excellent but pricey for lunch.

Very nice location.  The staff was great.  The grounds were nicely laid out but a bit out of maintenance when were were there with some large weeds growing, but I'm sure that could easily be taken care of and may not always be the case.

The meals are very ordinary, but overpriced! And the staff  after i tipped them well, come ask for more money- extremely "polite" people!!! I had the worst experience in this place, and will NOT recommend to anyone!

We chose this location for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. They were so helpful with the arrangements, having a tasting and making a remarkable event for our family.  The room had big picture windows and a fireplace. A gazebo stands several yards from the entrance.

We were told Brookville Hotel was the place to go to eat fried chicken in the Abilene area. I can tell you as someone who has traveled all over this country and has eat fried chicken all my life this is the worst fried chicken and cole slaw i have ever encounter. Fried chicken is supposed to be crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. This was soggy and tuff!  I would not recommend this this place to anyone else who has ever eat real  fried chicken! As a foot note who ever decided that  Cole Slaw is made with cool whip...Just WRONG!
