The bed and breakfast by which all bed and breakfasts should be measured. The absolute gold standard.

The facilities are beautiful, the grounds and gardens are gorgeous, and the rooms find the perfect balance of the practical and the luxurious. The breakfasts — handmade, locally sourced, and served in a gorgeous sun-room/dining room setting — are some of the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere ever.

Every last detail of your experience seems to have been carefully, and exquisitely, prepared to provide a warm and welcoming stay.

And, speaking of warm and welcoming… Rose and Ron are lovely hosts and wonderful people — unfailingly engaging and accommodating, delightful to talk to, and always ready with a great suggestions, from restaurants to hiking trails, to enjoy in the area. You know you’re being served by first-rate professionals, but you feel like you’re staying with friends or family.

I can’t recommend the Inn at Gothic Eves highly enough. Because I can’t imagine staying anywhere better.

My husband and I recently went to The Inn at Gothic Eves to have a couple’s message.  It was amazing to say the least! For the past six years we have been going to Mirbeau Inn and Spa but wanted to try something new…I am glad we did! The massage was even better and the atmosphere/ambiance was more intimate.  After the massage Rose and Ron took us for a tour around the Spa and Inn. The attention to detail is amazing.   My husband and I are both real estate brokers and we were amazed by what Rose has done with these two old homes, bringing them back to better than new condition and totally restoring them with all the modern updates and much more. All the rooms have high end, luxurious finishes and their own unique feel. No cookie cutter theme here. We are absolutely coming back and next time will be staying over night along with a spa treatment! Thanks Rose and Ron!

We just spent the past holiday weekend at Gothic Eves in Trumansburg NY. Our host Rose is a warm and friendly person as well as the maker of the most delightful breakfasts made with ingredients from the Inn garden and local farms!! The Inn location gives you access to the lakes, wineries, waterfalls and other beautiful towns such as Ithaca and Skaneateles (not to be missed on a Sunday)...Come back at the end of the day and enjoy a glass of wine on the porch swing! You will love the comfort of this house and the generosity of its owner. Thanks Rose and Ron from Rose and Peter!

This place is completely beautiful, Rose is a wonderful host and her rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. We would love to go there again.

My friend and I were cycling in the Finger Lakes and the Inn at Gothic Eves was a perfect place to stay.  We were able to indulge in a massage at the Inn after a great day of cycling.  We enjoyed a great dinner just a walk away from the Inn and Rose was the best hostess, welcoming us and providing wonderful conversation, information and a superb breakfast.  The space was comfortable, cozy and beautiful  I would happily stay at the Inn at Gothic Eves again and recommend it to anyone seeking a great B & B as they explore this beautiful region of the Finger Lakes.
