I would love to say the best things about The inn at Laguna Beach, but I honestly can't. It has always been a favorite of mine. A few years ago you felt welcomed, everyone was friendly (staff) it made the atmosphere cozy. Today it feels like every other chain hotel, it's all about money. You would think parking in the hotel parking lot would be included? It's $35 per day. I know it's not much it's the principal. If you're paying $400 per night for your room they shouldn't charge for parking.

The location is right next to the main beach in Laguna Beach.  You literally walk out of your hotel to the beach. Numerous charming restaurant within a 10 minute walk.  Complimentary wine in the evening on the rooftop just before sunset. The staff is warm and friendly.  Adjacent to the beautiful California Costal walk.  I would definitely recommend this hotel.

If I could say this is less than one star I would. I booked this through a site. 
I had to cancel all of my plans due to the hurricane.  This hotel would not refund my money.  It was a situation out of my control. .   Beware if you can't make it due to a natural disaster this lovely place will tell you to go scratch.

Good views of the ocean. Super close to the water. I like that I can see the beach as soon as I wake up and roll over to look out the window.

Rooms very comfortable. No microwave and fridge full of paid snacks. Location is fantastic, right next to beach. Pool and hot tub are great. WiFi didn't work for me. Free wine at night is fantastic.
