The food is better than okay but not great,  prices are reasonable, service tends to be slow and somewhat inattentive but friendly.  The location and view are great.  The general atmosphere is also very good.

The biggest problem is parking. Even though there is a parking lot, it is small and usually full. Finding other parking nearby is tricky as it as the roads are narrow and it is a busy busy crowded area.  Count on walking a block or two, but that is not bad as the town is quaint and historic so the walk will be pleasent.

Even with all this considered I would eat here again and even recommend The Landing with the caveats as above mentioned.

The best clam chowder I had try ever. The bar need some update but there is a good atmosphere.

Nice restaurant with great outdoor seating on a warm, sunny day (In October!). Our server Felix was really friendly and had a great smile. French onion soup was piping hot and fish sandwiches were good. And there was a fantastic hand scrub in the women's bathroom that was a pleasant surprise.

The landing has the best management and staff that consistently go above and beyond in service and food.  Recently for clients in town, needed last minute dinner but everything had closed, the Landing stepped up and got the dinners done even though they too had already closed the kitchen.  This place has the culture "no isn't an option".  Food is great, lobster rolls are huge, seafood fresh, location is perfect, staff is awesome.  Nice job!!
