I’ve been using Laundry Stork for 2 years - I don’t have laundry in my building so all of my laundry is sent to Laundry Stork. I have never had an issue and love the service. I can’t speak on delivery, because I drop my laundry into the lockers at the Williamsburg location. So convenient and easy. Plus, love that Laundry Stork is environmentally aware and tech savvy. Highly recommend it!

DO NOT USE THE LAUNDRY STORK! I would give 0 stars if I could. Worst customer service and failure to deliver on business promises I have ever encountered in my life. Their website says their turnaround time is usually 1 business day for laundry and 2-3 business days for dry cleaning. I HAVE WAITED ALMOST AN ENTIRE SEVEN DAYS FOR 1 SMALL BAG OF LAUNDRY TO BE RETURNED TO ME WITHOUT EVEN BEING WASHED. Here’s what happened:

Monday, 11 am: Drop off one bag of laundry at drop-off location in Brooklyn

Wednesday night: Still no word from Laundry Stork about if my order is being processed, which is odd considering they use an automated system. I called the number they have listed – there is no answer and I am sent to a voice recording telling me that the line is not set up for voice calls OR voicemail. First red flag. I send them an email asking about the status of my order and am told that “due to the severe understaffing problem currently plaguing” them, my order isn’t ready, but should be by tomorrow.

Thursday night: Still no word about my order being ready as I was told it would be. I email again, annoyed that I as the customer have to ask for updates. This time, a new problem arises: now they are “battling the unexpected loss of their driver” (verbatim) and my order is now “scheduled to be completed” tomorrow, on Friday. I am assured that I will be updated if that timeline changes. 

Friday morning: I am done waiting and playing games. I email them saying forget washing my clothes and just give me an address to come pick up my laundry. They email back saying they will drop them off at the drop-off point and let me know when it’s ready to be picked up. 

Friday night: Still no word about my laundry being delivered to the drop-off point. I email asking where the hell my clothes are.

Saturday morning: Now, another problem!!!!! Their driver is out for the day, so I am told the order will be delivered by tomorrow afternoon. 

I’m still waiting for my laundry. I am appalled at the lack of concern for my situation based on what their website promises.

I felt I little weird leaving my items in a locker, but I got everything back on time. My building is out of scope for delivery, but it's nice they offer that. I didn't love the way my clothes smelled - definitely not fresh.

HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE. OUR LOCKER "MALFUNCTIONED" APPARENTLY WHEN WE DROPPED OFF ON A THURSDAY MORNING. COULD NOT GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE, JUST GENERIC EMAILS. SAID READY FOR PICK UP ON MONDAY NIGHT, AND CLOTHES WERE NOT EVEN WASHED!!!!

A friend of mine recommended the service, and I was extremely thankful! It’s very easy to use and very convenient, especially for people like me that work all day and used to spend most of their weekends doing laundry. I left my clothes with my doorman when I left to work in the morning, and got everything clean and neatly folded on the following day. Very simple, reliable, and truly eco-friendly. They do really care about the environment and my clothes. The Laundry Stork helped me realized how much time I used to spend doing laundry and how harmful to the environment it was.
