We understand that well-intentioned, ethical hunters make honest mistakes. Especially when they hunt out-of-state, under unfamiliar and complicated game laws.

Cessna Law Office, LLC. is a Denver based firm which is an exclusive criminal defense practice. Attorney Christopher Cessna is a lifelong hunter. In fact, before law school, Mr. Cessna spent 10 years enforcing state and federal wildlife laws for the Colorado State Parks & Wildlife and later at the U.S. Department of the Interior.

After law school, Mr. Cessna served as a deputy district attorney in metro Denver prosecuting felonies and misdemeanors, including game violations. He then opened his own criminal defense practice in 2002.

Since then, Mr. Cessna has represented numerous professional, nationally known hunters and everyday, weekend hunters for various wildlife law violations in numerous states. He has been very successful in obtaining dismissals and favorable plea deals of the charges, thereby restoring hunting privileges and returning seized trophy animals back to his client's own trophy walls.
