My brother was arrested for a federal drug conspiracy case last year. Our family called around and met with a lot of attorneys before we chose Mr. Lara. One difference we noticed with Guillermo's office is that they get you a lot of information from the beginning. When we went to other visits with attorney's, they talked and talked about how good they were and how long they had practiced but they didn't give us any real information. I liked that when we walked into the meeting with Mr. Lara, he told exactly when the next court date was, what charges he was facing, and he had a plan for what he would do  from the beginning. My brother's and I felt comfortable with him and decided to hire him. My brother was facing ten years to life in prison but he also had a Felony case that he was on bond for. The prosecutor did not want to budge on the case so Mr. Lara prepared the case for trial. After the trial was continued a few times, they finally agreed to give my brother a reasonable offer.  We only hired Mr. Lara for the Federal case and he did an amazing job!  During the case we could not reach the other attorney from the state case to make sure everything was going well so we asked Mr. Lara if he could help us with that too. Mr. Lara was great because he knew that we didn't have money to hire a different attorney for the state case and we were lucky enough that he didn't charge us for representing him on the state case. My brother did have to serve jail time but it was only going to be 4 years. We are thankful that we trusted Guillermo and his team with the case. Guillermo went out of his way to show us that others still care and want to help.  Thank you guys!

This law office was very positive with my case. From the start they said it would be a easy case. Sure enough my case was dismissed with no problems. Money well spent and I thank them.

A Couple of months ago I was pulled over and arrested for Felony drug charge POSS W/I DEL.
This was the first time being arrested or getting in any kind of trouble with law enforcement. Mr. Guillermo Lara and Chris where both amazing in response time no matter morning, afternoon or in the evening. I was stressed and very concerned about what would happen and was reassured that it was not the end of the world. He listened to my story without any judgment and I immediately felt at ease on the fist meeting with him. He walked me through what we could expect next and carefully explained and answered any questions I might have had. I felt like I was talking to a long time friend and Mr. Lara and Chris where both easy to talk to and very helpful. within a couple of months Mr. Guillermo Lara and his team worked hard and went over a few possibility's of what could happen. In the end he was able to get my case DISMISSED!!! I would highly recommend him to anyone who found themselves in a difficult situation.

My husband and I are so greatful for everything Mr.Lara did for us, we prepared for over a year on his case.My husband had two previous domestic violence cases with time served from back in his younger days and after a heated argument were I exploded and initiated the fight long story short my husband was looking at 3rd strike domestic violence with aggravated assault and aggrivated theft, the DAs office wouldn't even consider anything less than time without a chance of porole. We had begun jury selection to proceed to trial as we showed up that morning we received amazing news that my husbands case was being dismissed, thank you Guillermo Lara you truly are a amazing lawyer. I was lucky to have Guillermo Lara as my appointed lawyer. I was accused of  First Degree Aggravted Kidnapping and this man took my case to trial and won. I was looking at 99 years in jail and the District Attorney wanted me to take 15 years.  The jury decided I was NOT GUILTY! I was able to get my life back after spending a lot of time in jail and my life good. I have my family, a job and I owe it to this man that was able to get me out of this. 

I had no money for an attorney and the court first appointed me this older man. I thought he must be good because he’s old and has been around for over 20 years. Nombre. This guy wanted me to sign the first day I met him because it was a hard case . He didn’t even review reports with me. After that guy was off the case they gave me attorney lara. When he went over to visit me in county I was like how many trials have you even had because im not trying to do time. This guy was confident and I remember him telling me I either trust him or not. The court wouldn’t have put him on the case if he couldn’t handle it. He told me that I was lucky I even got him because he was getting off ebing a public defender. He made a joke about he was the best in this years draft. Attorney Lara always kept his word and told me that his job is to fight for me and if I ever wanted to take a deal that it was my choice. He can only tell me my choices and I had to decide.  He would talk about the case with me when i had questions and wouldn’t act like he was better than me. He didn’t treat me like an idiot. He knows the law and fought my case. Another good thing for anyone looking to hire a criminal lawyer is that it was crazy how he was able to use the prosecutors witnesses against each other.  The only negative thing I can say is that he takes a lot of cases to trial and i had to wait an extra month to have my trial because he was in trial on another case.   

This guy is legit! I have sent him a lot of business after this because I know that if he would work this hard for an appointed case he would work even harder on a paid case.  No doubt, this is the guy you want fighting for you.
