Setting up a trust can be a very daunting, and let's face it, unpleasant experience (or so we'd heard). However, Mr. Lenzi made sure he put some of our fears and concerns regarding this process to rest right up front. He sat down with us and first got to "know" our family, its dynamics, and the plans and goals we had for our future and the dreams for our children and grandchildren. This was very important to us. How can you structure a trust that will meet and "exceed" your needs if the attorney preparing that document doesn't understand your "family". Family has and will always be very important to us and Mr. Lenzi recognized that after our first meeting. He gave us a framework to develop both our trust in him and our Revocable Trust in a manner that definitively lays out our assets and how they are to be distributed upon our departure from this earth. He instructed us on the advantages of a trust and ways to avoid probate, reduce or avoid estate taxes, the privacy of our estate, how the funds will be managed, various arrangements we could make for our existing and any "future grandchildren", the ability to change or revoke the trust, and the fact that we retain control of our assets while alive. It is very easy to see that he has a compassion for what he does; that he cares for his clients, and most importantly is very knowledgeable in the most recent tax and inheritance law statutes. That is very critical to this process. Mr. Lenzi is a very caring and astute professional in his field.
