The first time I came here I sat at the bar and only ordered a couple drinks so all was well. The second time I came in i dined in and it was a different experience.  

It was so dark! Hard to tell if they were closed and forgot to lock the door.  

Couldn't really tell who our waiter was because there were 2 people tending to us (1 for drinks,  1 for food) our food waitress was a bit hard around the edges,  she either seemed like she couldn't be bothered or frankly didn't care.  Not sure.  She was just very short with us and wasn't all that friendly. 

Food was ok, but I don't think I'd recommend this place to others. 😕

Food was amazing.  Service was great,  and we loved the view.  One of my husband's favorite places to go when we get to visit the UP.

I have come here for years on vacation and have always had excellent meals here...and the beer is good too. I highly recommend The Library.

Porta Bella sandwich and brisket sandwich - delicious. Service pretty good. Background music annoying. Great coffee.

Between 3 and 4 stars, the food is good but pricy in my opinion. Very cool atmosphere in here though
