My husband and I have eaten here before and had a fantastic experience. However, we decided to go recently for our anniversary. My husband ordered his steak and it was slightly overcooked and our server was checking her phone while at our table. My husband did not want to wait for another steak so when asked how everything was we said it was fine because , overall, we were enjoying our meal. I received our emailed receipt later and I did comment on my husband's steak and the server checking her phone so they would be aware. This was not on a public platform and I certainly was not asking for a refund or free food. I was quite taken aback by the snarky reply I received from the restaurant. This is what I received: "Thank you for your comment. As far as your steak being overcooked, we apologize. Its a very fine line between medium well and well done, and unfortunately we cannot see inside the steak. We would have been happy replace it or cook another had you informed us of our mistake. I have spoken with the server and she tells me she asked you more than once how everything was. If you say fine, there is nothing I can do. As far as her being on her phone, she is communicating with the employees upstairs. Thank you for your concern. Again we apologize that you were disappointed." I was offering comment for the next time we went, however, I am afraid there will not be a next time after this reply.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary in March. We sat outdoors, and for most of tbe night had the place to ourselves. Their mixed drinks, with local spirits, are absolutely divine. We had the chips for an appetizer. HUGE PLATE, and sooo good. We both ordered the steak, and quite frankly it is the best we have ever eaten. The staff was so helpful, professional, and super sweet. We most definitely will be coming back, and is worth every penny.

I'm not qualified to say what is or is that gourmet, but if you're looking for a gourmet restaurant in South GA or along I-75, this might be your only choice.  Excellent food and service. Great beer, wine, and whiskey selection.
