This is a must when you come to Matagorda. Beautiful clothes, coffee and wine shop located next to a lodge.  Very cute

We stayed here once and it was ok. The second time three of us wanted to fish and one guy slept on a cot on the floor. This is against their rules, we didn't read the fine print. We had planned to stay another night but didn't. We kept the place clean and didn't cause any trouble. It was 4th of July weekend and there were 3 other guests. In demand place. We won't be back. Who turns down a guaranteed room occupancy? Not only that but the management knew we keep our boat in Matagorda and will not be back. Discretionary enforcement was not used.

Took my wife there for Valentine weekend and the room was nice and comptable. The fireplace was the bomb and the staff was so friendly

Nice upscale lodging in Matagorda.  Home baked cookies,  wine and coffee bar. Excellent staff.

I live minutes from here.  Whenever we get the chance, my husband and I sneak away to recharge.  I can't decide which room is my favorite.  You will feel like you've slept on a cloud and won't want to leave.  Sipping on wine while shopping, having a nightcap by the outdoor fireplace, and taking a long hot shower are my favorites.  You WILL love staying here!
