I usually have a good time at Maddox, good service and good food. During this visit I had several quarrels with the food presentation and the service. I attempted to council the server, but was only met with a smug face and a bad attitude.

I love to eat here. Don't make a the mistake on coming on Sunday or Monday though as they aren't open. They have lots of seating, great home cooked food, and nice staff. I've never eaten any I didn't like here, its always been so yummy,

The place is nice I suggest making reservations or at least call ahead. The place was packed but we didn't have to wait too long because we did call ahead. The rolls and cornbread was real great along with the raspberry butter. The brocole cheese soup was delicious. I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare it came out well done. Our server was nice and took it back to get one done correctly. In the mean time I ate the corn on the cob which was cooked perfect and my baked potato. When the server brought back my steak he brought me back another full meal. The steak was cooked correctly but it was so salty and a little on the tuff side. I would have rated it higher but the most expensive part of the meal was not even close to a home run.

This was a nice place. It had a good comfortable atmospher. The staff was nice and accommodating, but at times overbearing. The food was good nothing to rave about but nice enough. The best part was the bread and honey butter. It is a great place for large groups.

The best service, the greatest tasting food, everything was superb compliments to the staff, from the time you walk in the door till the time you walk out. In our case I had to call to get directions since we are from Oregon and we're just told you were on main street,  we'll worth the time to find.  We will definitely come back on our way through.  How would you like to open another great Maddox in Oregon have to be near Portland area.
