The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service are all honestly great here. I've been in various times over the past couple years and have been happy with my experience. The chef is always accommodating to my dietary needs, and the cocktails are really special. Service is on point, even when it is busy. So why the one star?? Because the owners of the restaurant are, frankly, terrible. Throughout my visits at The Loft I have seen them (a married couple. . .Paula and Niko) yell at their employees, physically run into their employees AND their guests, and use degrading/insulting words toward their servers. Oh, and inappropriate touching? We won't even go there. When I have spoken to the owners in passing (which I would not recommend doing) they were rude and arrogant towards me. That is not only unwise from a business perspective, but also just a bad attitude to have toward people in general. While I appreciate the servers, chefs, and bartenders and hope they all do well, I have a hard time supporting a business that is run by people that hold their employees and their guests in such a low regard. But I guess karma works things out in the end.

Great food, was a fun visit for Restaurant Week. We'll definitely be back - the truffle fries were especially good. Great happy hour menu, too!

Cozy little bar and restaurant, good food and drink offerings (including beer), I love stopping by here after a day at work.

Fun place with nice atmosphere. Good drinks made by the bartender, close to other local places for easy bar hopping. Live music inside, check it out.

nice location and ambience. kinda small, and kinda pricey. maybe too upscale a feel for the neighborhood
