First time at this restaurant and everything was delicious! We had the buffet for lunch. We tried a little of everything and we were pleasantly surprised how great the food was seasoned. We will definitely be back again. The staff was friendly and the bathroom was clean.
Great South Indian Items! Especially the Sambhar curry is one of the best in Houston… should try once and pretty sure you’ll visit often then after Tandoori chicken will also satisfy your taste buds + Grilled fish will really tickle your senses and makes you feel having a great sea food! Bon appetite .
I went on a Tuesday hoping to enjoy their lunch buffet others had mentioned in reviews. I find out once there that it’s only offered Fri, Sat, & Sun, so I decided to try the tikka chicken lunch. Though it was slightly spicier than what I’m used to, it was fresh, hot, & very good! The service was also great. I look forward to trying out the *weekends only* lunch buffet very soon!
Great Indian cuisine! Prices are good.Recommended dishesChicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken
Amazing food. Tried their chicken, goat, shrimp and tandoori Momos appetizer and all were delicious. Garlic fried rice and Chicken Manchurian were very good too. Will definitely visit again.
Food was generally fresh, spicy, tasty and plentiful. It’s hard to find a decent indo chinese without driving an hour, so this location is convenient. One of our dishes did not come out as good as the others and they didn’t put it on the bill, good service.
I frequently order food from this place not because the food quality but this is the only Indian food near by cypress location. Food is just ok both taste and quality.. but today I ordered chicken tandoori momos and I was very hungry and literally waiting for it and it arrived and the meat was not cooked properly and I felt eating raw chicken pink meat .. @owner - please don’t risk ppl’s health by serving such uncooked meat .. if you can’t pay attention to all this then better close this place .. too frustrated seeing uncooked chicken .. 1 star is because the food got delivered
Came for dinner with a group and tried a few of the dishes, both appetizers and entrees. The food was quite average, but the restaurant itself and its staff are very nice so an extra star for that. We got chilli chicken, chicken 65, idli sambar, butter chicken, and a masala dosa. Butter chicken was a miss, but the chilli chicken was good. Rest were okay.
Because I’m such a lightweight when it comes to heat/spice, I was told to try this place. Except the day I visited, they really kicked it up. My friend said it wasn’t normally this spicy. The waiter admitted it had more heat than normal. His advice? Drink water and eat the milky dessert to cool off. Even the saag paneer was too spicy. I say if you can’t keep it consistent—phooey on it.
We found this place driving around. The name drew our attention. We decided to try some of their food to go. For an appetizer we tried their Lamb Samosa. These things are huge! Wrapped in pastry dough like little money bags, they are full of lamb and veggies, and it's buttery and so succulent. My dish was the Special Fish Curry. The King fish is well worth the $1.00 extra. The curry has a great spice to it, and their rice is excellent. You get four tick cut steaks of Kingfish cooked in their curry spices served over rice. The portions were big enough that we had left overs. My wife tried their butter chicken. A buttery savory sauce with chicken chunks, served over rice. It was very well cooked. To go with our meals we each got a piece of Naan. We got their Garlic Naan that you can tell has fresh garlic and coriander. Their Kasmiri Naan is wonderfully sweet with cashews and raisins. Our meal cam with a little pastry dessert that we can't figure out what it is called, either. But it's sweet like honey holding something shredded together, and seems to have rasins and cashews in it.
