Story

You know as soon as you enter The Montana Club’s lodge-style restaurants that they have been developed with their namesake in mind. Owners, Bob Powell and Nick Alonzo, are Missoula natives and their Montana values are apparent in all aspects of their restaurants. They have been in business together for over 20 years and friends for even longer. Their goal has been to create a place where value and home-style cooking meet comfort and Montana style.

My first visit here tonight. I enjoyed the steak and salmon combo. Both were tasty but the steak! Medium rare, melts in your mouth, it's so tender. There house-made salad dressings are so flavorful, I tried the ginger- sesame which was a wonderful departure from the run of the mill ranch at most places.
The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. We didn't wait or want for anything.
I will definitely return, I have to try the 45 day aged steak. It must be just this side of heaven! Thanks for the great dinner!

Good food, good prices.  Amazing staff.  My favorite go to place for an evening out when I don't want to break the bank.

Awesome food & service. Here from Dallas, TX. I will come here anytime that I'm near Billings for such great food. The employees were so sweet & down home. They made us feel they family.

The Montana Club has a menu to accommodate any tastes or appetite. The service is great. And, I appreciate that I can go there and hear the conversation at my table and participate.

I had the chicken fried steak and sorry to say it was the worst I've had in a long time.
Although it wasn't very crowded, service was slow.
Not impressed with their chicken fried steak to say the least.
