This company took 3 truck loads of goods from my home and placed the items in storage. They protected the goods like I was royalty. I appreciate everything  The Moving Company did to get my things delivered. All done in one day and I am extremely Happy!!! If you are looking for Quality service, call them!

Awful experience with this company!! I had the company to move items from two different locations. Let me list the problems:

1)  While moving items at first location, one of the workers helped himself to some soap that he did not ask for. Did I mention this was at a church that he stole the soap from? The church employee saw him and told me to keep an eye on him because who knows what else he would steal if he stole soap from a church. However, maybe he needed soap. 

2)   Movers showed up without proper equipment or enough bodies. Movers then proceeded to drop one of the metal cabinets and push it, on concrete floor, the rest of the way the into storage unit. End result, cabinet busted all up and now has gouges on it from concrete. Told company, 5 days in advance about heavy cabinets, yet they didn't send right equipment to move cabinets. 

3) Had to listen to employee constantly taking about how they do all the work and get paid $8 to $9 an hour, so they rely on tips from customers and how he needs a better job because he and other employees maybe get 3-4 hours of work a day.

4) Watched the movers smoke while moving furniture, chat, and have in-depth conversations while they were on the clock. Literally, cigarettes hanging from their lips as they moved furniture. Apparently with this company, you can smoke while moving furniture and reminisce at the expense of the person who hired you to move items.  I just loved how their ears were being used as cigarette place holders. 

5) Company charged me $80 for boxes. I didn't need or use company boxes. 

6) Company charged credit card $900 before the job was even complete. 

I could go on and about this company. 

By all means, use this company if you want unprofessional and untrustworthy workers in your home or buisness.

Just  used The Moving Company to move into my new apartment. Absolutely great Service!! On time at my pickup and speedy delivery. I did not have a whole bunch of things to move, but what they did move was done professionally and the guys had a great attitude!! Thank you for Great Service!!

I was moving from Austin to Boerne Texas the only reason for the move was because I was being transferred and my new job was in San Antonio. The last time I moved I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE with the movers and swore I would never use movers again, so I was careful about how I moved this time. I decided to rent a Penske Truck and had my friends load up everything in Austin and my brother also helped me. 

It was such a difficult task but I was already committed and we worked very hard to get everything loaded. Finally after 6 hours of loading and frustration we got the last few boxes into the rental. Unfortunately one of my friends twisted his ankle and I FELT TERRIBLE SINCE I HAD ASKED HIM TO HELP ME. When I finally got on the road from North Austin I was fortunate that my brother was able to drive the truck because I did not feel safe in such a large vehicle. We drove and it took us 2.75 hours to get from North Austin/ Round Rock area to Boerne. 

When we arrived we were completely exhausted. Then we still had to unload a full truck!!! I thought I will never do this again. I called several companies and the most responsive was The Moving Company. I spoke with a girl named Crystal and asked her if she could help me. She told me there was a truck on the way in and she would contact them to see if they could help her get unloaded. She called back less than 5 minutes later and she said they would be at my house in 15 minutes. I thought great! 

TEN minutes later they arrived and started unloading immediately. The gentlemen were very nice and unloaded everything and setup all my furniture. They placed all the boxes where I needed the boxes in my new home and one of the guys helped me unpack while the others were unloading. 

By the time they were done everything in my house was where I wanted it and I could finally relax after such a taxing trip from Austin. I was very impressed and my brother and I were very grateful. I made the team lemonade and ordered a Pizza for them to eat. If I had unloaded the truck with my brother it would have been a disaster. I can only imagine how hard it would have been to get everything out of that large truck. I asked the men if they went to Austin and they said all the time. 

If I had known that they could have gone to Austin and picked up my things and transported everything to Boerne I would have hired The Moving Company immediately!! I made a mistake due to a prior experience and tried to do it myself. Anyone reading, don't do what I did and make the same mistake. Call The Moving Company
and get it done correctly. They were at my place within 10 minutes of the time I hung up. Great Service!!!!!!!

I AM IN TOWN ( San Antonio)  VISITING MY SISTER AND I recently found out that I was going to have to move from Denver Colorado to Seattle WA. Way back in 2005 I used a company called The Moving Company to get my things to Denver from San Antonio. They came to my home and told me they would pick me up on Monday morning and deliver my goods on Wednesday morning. I thought , ARE YOU SURE? Sure enough on Wednesday morning at 8:00AM the truck was in front of my new home. I was so impressed with the service I kept their number. While in SA I called them to see if they could take me to Seattle WA. Unfortunately I was told the pickup or delivery would have to be in Texas. However, the company gave me some great money saving ideas on how to get delivered to WA. They also Thanked me for calling back! This is a great company. They helped me, even though they could not make my delivery. That is why I called back 12 YEARS LATER!! If they gave me that level of service 12 years ago, i am sure they can get you across town pretty easily.
