When I was facing a stressful legal matter in Maine I contacted Attorney Chris Nielsen after researching lawyers and reading many positive reviews. Chris was a pleasure to work with, and my case was ultimately dismissed after completing community service. The office staff kept me well informed and got all of my questions answered in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend Attorney Nielsen if you need a defense attorney in Maine.

After being charged with a couple criminal charges I contacted attorney Chris Nielsen to assist me through this process. I had found chris through his outstanding reviews. Chris was absolutely incredible to work with. These charges could have impacted my future. But after being in court for an hour on my first appearance chris was able to resolve these matters. I would highly recommend chris himself or the Nielsen group to anyone.

I was facing criminal charges of discharging a firearm within 300 feet of a building. I didn't know if I needed a lawyer or not. I decided that I better talk to one. I googled lawyers for firearm charges in Maine and found The Nelson Group.
I met with Chris Nielsen he explained to me that things are pretty serious and that I could lose the privilege of owning a gun. I decided I better hire someone who would defend me. After reading the statements from discovery It looked bad.  I made a appointment to discuss my case with Chris when we met he told me that he had some good news. He had discussed my case with the district attorney and with my clean record I didn't even have to go to court.
I really appreciate what Chris Nielsen and his staff did for me and I would recommend The Nelson Group for legal services.

After several phone interviews, I knew The Nielson Group was the attorney representation I wanted.  The office manager was excellent in finding the right attorney for me.  Cameron Ellis took the time to explain things to me, without feeling rushed or patronized.  I had a difficult out-of-state PFA case that required a lot of prep work.  Cameron was diligent, timely, and compassionate for me.  The case was dismissed and continued into another state.  Cameron (free of charge) helped my new attorney with prep work he had completed to have the 2nd PFA dismissed!  Please don't hesitate to hire this firm and Cameron Ellis!  I wish they were licensed in my current state, we would be partners for life.
