Story

The Oasis at Joe Pool Lake is a popular gathering place and a favorite of locals that go to enjoy the food, nightlife. Offering one of the greatest views of Joe Pool Lake and the surrounding area for your dining and entertainment pleasure. The restaurant features great food, great cocktails and great entertainment. You can arrive at the Oasis by land or via the lake. If you are boating, there are courtesy slips that line the outside deck and plenty of parking for car goers.
The restaurant offers amazing fresh fish, oysters and catfish. A variety of seafood, steaks, and chicken. Delicious salads, sandwiches, and a large selection of great appetizers and a famous variety of signature cocktails.
The building itself is lined with windows so even if you decide to eat a meal inside you can still enjoy looking out over Lake Joe Pool. The outside patio also offers a comfortable place to spend time with your family or friends with live entertainment all summer long.
Upstairs, The Lake View Room is open to guests during the summer and has a beautiful covered patio overlooking the stage as well as amazing views of the lake. The Lake View Room can also be rented for parties, banquets and meetings. Making it a worthy option to consider if you need to plan a family gathering, a business meeting, or any event that needs to include great food and a unique location.

I always love coming out here to listen to the King David Band but there always seems to be a problem with seating arrangements. When my mother, my cousin, and I showed up, we paid to get in and tried to find a seat. We always respect those who have tables reserved for their family and friends but it never hurts to ask if we could have a seat. A gentlemen was kind enough to allow us and a few other guest that would soon be joining us to sit next to him and his family that was on their way as well. We were later greeted by the general manager and police officers because we refused to give up seats for another table who already had 15 people sitting in their group, and that have not been filled but had obviously been reserved for our friends and the gentleman's family. They then proceeded to ask the gentleman where he was sitting and why he had two tables reserved and told him that he could not do that, meanwhile there are 5 other guest in the back of the patio with multiple tables pushed together and reserved as well with no one sitting there yet. Now if I wanted a particular seat in the front where I can see the band and another guest was "reserving" seats for their guests, was management going to make them give up their seats although the venue had not even been filled yet? The only reason why this became an issue was because it was "first come first serve" but there were also limited seats as well but not everyone could have one unless someone was willing to share their space. Needless to say the police and management made a huge deal for nothing and cause the hugest scene by yelling at us and crowding over us just to walk away from the situation. The more time they spent questioning where people were sitting and who were we saving the seats for the more time management and the police wasted and eventually each and every one of our guest and the gentleman's guests showed up and had no choice but to walk away and let the situation be. This entire situation was unnecessary and uncalled for.

Cool place to hang lots of activity, people and live music, fried pickles are good to. If you come in on the water on slower days you can dock without a problem busy day is another subject. The waterway is tight and busy and you have lots of boaters with and without experience, the ones with experience  are ok the ones without or little experience are the ones you have to look for. They have a little bridge that you can hang out at which is cool feeding the fish and kids seem to love it. The servers all seem cool and friendly. If you haven't been I would recommend checking it out.

I loved this spot. The weather was excellent for sitting on the patio. The drinks and food were great. Staff is super friendly. We had a great lunch and will have to come back for the live music

We have been here 3x now. The food is awesome and the servers are very sweet. This last time we came we waited for over 20 minutes for someone to take our order after being seated on the patio which honestly wasnt very full but other than that we will keep making this a family weekend spot.

The food is worth 1 star.
Regarding the incident with the class reunion members last night. Been going to Oasis for 18 years since 2000, missed 2 for this reunion. We had classmates drive 3 hours and some came from out of town, only to be told they cannot come him.

We are now looking into another location to relocate our reunion for classes 54, 56, 58, 69 and 1974. I find your actions deplorable even worse, I witnessed them, so we left early. I really felt sorry for the 2 servers that worked their butt off with no heads up. We made sure Sam our server was taken care of. There were still people that could not get service and did not eat. I cannot condone what you did to Becky Jewett having her remove by police for doing nothing wrong.
