My favorite "Coaches Corner " I love this place, it's funky, fun and they play the best music. Drinks are great. We have kicked it here. Dancing and having a great time. Roll through, and you will be surprised.Food: 4/5
Fun dive bar. Good for quick eats. Plenty of beer and cocktails made to order. The bar is themed like an episode of SpongeBob with life perseveres and bouys hanging everywhere. There is a couple of fish tanks as well. The staff is really nice and the drinks come out quick. It’s located in a great area in Wallingford that is easily accessible from the university district, Fremont, Ballard, and downtown. I would highly recommend this spot for a night out with friends or a quick drink in a date. Dietary restrictions: You can ask the bartenders to modify the dishes when you order. Parking: You’ll have to find parking on the street which is feee for up to two hours at a time. Kid-friendliness: I would recommend bring kids into the bar. It has more of a dive bar feel to it. Wheelchair accessibility: The building is on the first floor and is wheelchair accessible from the street. The area within the bar should be easy to navigate if is not too busy.
Trevor and Liza have a LGBTQIA community bar and restaurant that is all about love in this world Brother's and Sisters. There passion runs through every detail of the Octopus Bar. They give back to the Community on so many levels and I'm proud to tell everyone I know to visit the Octopus Bar and enjoy the chillaxing vibes there. Keep doing what your doing into the future ‍ Peace Farmer Daddy J
Went here with some friends. It was cool until the chubby server in the Jean short shorts was a complete a hole. There is this funky little sailor steering wheel gadget on the counter. I thought it was cool but apparently it’s not okay to touch. Like why is it out anyways? Either way. I’m fine with anyone saying it’s not okay to touch but this guy was a complete a hole about it. Never again. Some many other places to go
I’m not sure what I enjoyed more, the ambience, the decor, the delicious food, or the refreshing drinks? The entire experience was phenomenal but the detail that brought everything home was the fantastic service delivered by my bartender, Tommie. He was delightfully friendly and perfectly tied the bow on an all-around excellent experience. I have a feeling I will be coming back regularly because everything about The Octopuss bar made me fee like I was at home
Fun spot! The nautical theme is perfectly executed, and the quirky photo booths and vending machines add to the party atmosphere. The cocktail list is something worth exploring, and the beers on tap are mostly local and top notch. The bar tender was very friendly and made a great drink for us!
I have been to octopus bar several times. I had really positive things to say about it. My friend and I went back today. We arrived at 8:00 and sat at the bar. The bar tender looked at us and ignored us for 30 minutes. The back of the house eventually went to her and told her that we were sitting there and needed to be served. It took her another 5 minutes to approach us. She very rudely asked us what we wanted to drinks. When it came to the bill I did not give her a tip. We were sitting there forever she made eye contact with us and still ignored us. She then came up and said that she could remake our drinks and I said that they were fine and we were good. She asked why I gave her no tip. I explained to her that we were sitting there for 30 minutes and she said she was busy. It was 8:30 and the bartenders were chatting with each other rather than serving us. I find it hard to believe that this was her “busy time” since they are open until 2am. The behavior was unacceptable and rude. We will not be going back. How we were treated was absolutely not okay. I very rarely do not leave a tip. I have been a bar tender before and would never treat my customers that way.
Best decor ever! The only bar I've ever been to that has a fish tank! They manage to make the most random decorations fit together! Trivia night is fun!Food: 5/5
Dance battle Saturdays are my favorite!! Such great yummy food, and drinks. Always a good atmosphere. Love the nautical theme !!Food: 5/5
An unforgettable experience. I came by on a night where they had 2 drag performers come out and they were amazing! The food here is incredible seriously I’ve been craving their fries since I left lol. I’ll have to come back again. The atmosphere is great and the owner was so nice he greeted my friends and I at the door!! The decor was fun and unique, they even have a fish-tank! I will 100% be returning every time i’m in the area. Parking: It was super easy to find parking nearby even on a really busy night.
