My family really liked the vibe of this place. I would really rate it more of a 4.5 however at the moment due to the construction outside. It is kind of an eye sore. 

The food is great. A bit pricey but great. The service so far has been great. We loved our half booth that we got to sit in on our last visit. Their grilled seasonal vegetables we're delicious. They also have a great bread basket if you ask for it.

Great place for a family to enjoy  lunch or dinner together. We will be back again for sure!

The wine selection was decent, cinnamon roll bread is a tasty novelty, the salad bar was fresh and varietous, and the cheese board was good. But a star gets taken away for some mold on a cheddar cheese and the main course (steak) not being the cut or temperature ordered. Sauces and onions or mushrooms are an added cost and the sides are mediocre so I was looking forward to the steak. 
A star also gets taken away for waiting over 20 minutes even though we had reservations then getting seated in a triangle flanked by the salad bar, kitchen and drafty door. Not romantic at all.

We Grist Mill for our anniversary dinner. So very pleased that we did.  Our Server, Andrew, was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for better. He brought us a complimentary anniversary dessert (he show off his masterful presentation skills).

A local institution. Good food and a limited menu make the Grist Mill a place to go. The staff tries to meet customer's every need. Recommend a reservation, even for lunch.

Great food! Steaks, Duck, Seafood and a fabulous salad bar, oh my! Outstanding service and country ambiance round out the dining experience.
