A fabulous "day trip" from the cottage, and one we make sure we fit in AT LEAST twice every summer.  A lovely lunch of "Swinging Shepherd's Pie", a three-tiered dessert tray with our tea, followed (or preceded!) by shopping at Old Hastings Mercantile.  We ALWAYS find the best presents for birthdays, Christmas or "just because".  All together a lovely destination, sun or rain.

Very cute place in a lovely historic building with great attention to detail. The afternoon tea was quite good, and generous for the price. The service was excellent. My wife and I particularly enjoyed speaking with the owner, Ernie, who told us all about how the cafe started, and his former life as a concert musician.

An absolutely fantastic little place, just off the beaten path. I will be going back again very soon. Excellent food, great prices and fabulous owners.

Best tea room ever. I go whenever I can. The scones are my favorite, mouth watering delicious. Treat yourself and go there, you won't be disappointed.

What an amazing place to visit. Great vintages vibe. Love the classic tea cups. A great place for some old fashioned tea time. Great food and great prices.
