Story

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a family owned and operated restaurant founded in Portland, Oregon in 1969 by Guss and Sally Dussin. Dedicated to satisfying dining in warm surroundings, the Louisville Old Spaghetti Factory, established in 1985, is situated on the corner of Third and Market Street in downtown Louisville. Our building was once the famous Levy department store noted for its display of string lighting which illuminated the exterior for decades. Nearby are the Louisville Convention Center, the worldwide headquarters of the Presbyterian Church and the historic Galt House Hotel. We hope you will enjoy your visit with us and find many pleasant memories of the color and charm of Louisville.

One of my favorite restaurants! Beautiful historic building. It takes me back to a different time. Great food! I always have the brown butter pasta. The best! Service is great. I always look forward to eating here and soaking up the ambiance.

Awesome service, Amazing food, you get three courses for what ever meal you pick. So I got a lasagne which was 12$ and you get a loaf of bread, choice of soup or salad and Italian ice cream all included in that price. Half a star taking off due to the paper towel roles were not filled up, one soap dispenser is out of soap, and they haven't taking out the bathroom trash so it is over filling. Other then that, one of the best restaurants, beautiful restaurant, amazing service, good prices, and yummy food.

There's definitely an inconsistency when going here. A couple of months back we ate here and it was great. Had a reservation, were seated as soon as we came in, food was as you'd expect. This time was just the opposite. Had a reservation at 6, so we arrived about 10 minutes before. About 15 minutes after 6, we asked what was the hold-up and apparently another customer came up when they called our name. We were standing right near the desk, so I don't think they actually called our name, but I did see a guy come up and ask about a reservation for two and they immediately seated them. They sat us after a minute or two, but what followed was not good. The service took forever, but I think this was mostly due to the fact that our server was spread thin. I really felt bad for him because we saw what appeared to be a manager shoot him a bad look when he dropped something. But hey, stuff happens. On that note, there were handful of guys standing around that looked to be managers that looked like they'd probably do better pitching in than standing around and criticizing. Just one person's opinion.

Okay, so 5 people and a small child ate here. The food was just okay. Not great or awful. But the waitress was awful. Our appetizers sat in front of us before she served them for 20 minutes. We didn't get a refill (over an hour meal) until we called the manager. Manager never apologized for bad service. Waitress argued that she had taken care of us. If I had a 0 star rating that's my score. 0/10 I get better service from a drive through. More friendly too

Full of good food and nostalgia. The service is great and the atmosphere is very calm. They have options for all food eaters. Veg, Vegan, meat! It is a nice place to sit with someone you want to give your attention to with low noise and little to distract you.
