Story

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a family owned and operated restaurant founded in Portland, Oregon in 1969 by Guss and Sally Dussin. Dedicated to satisfying dining in warm surroundings, the Duarte Old Spaghetti Factory, established in 1993, is located on the corner of Central and Buena Vista, just off the 210 Freeway. Our building is the old Duarte Schoolhouse. Built in 1909, this is a wonderful example of the Mission style of architecture and a landmark in the community. Many of the original features of the schoolhouse have been carefully restored. We hope you will enjoy your visit with us and find many pleasant memories of the color and charm of Duarte.

service is fast and friendly. 3 course meal is the best deal , comes with fresh hot bread a choice of soup or salad with dressing , your choice of pasta with sauces made from scratch and their signature spumoni ice cream. good prices. i usually get the manager's special for 13.95$ which gives you the option of choosing 2 of their classic sauces. my favorites are the mushroom and white clam sauce. great place for family dining.

My brother and I hosted a wake after our father's service, since the Spaghetti Factory was one of his favorite places. I called and spoke with Deb who was absolutely fabulous. The restaurant was ready for our group of 25 people when we arrived. Food was great and the servers were terrific. I would truly recommend having a another group get together there.

Great food, terrific service. Our waitress, Autumn, was completely on top of her game. Friendly, helpful, making some very good menu suggestions. We never had to call her over she checked on us often without "hovering". I'm definitely coming back.

Here for lunch. Had meat sauce with Italian sausage. Both 5 stars for taste, texture, presentation, and smell. Ice tea is excellent. Service (Erick) 5 stars prompt and friendly. Place lost a star 3 reasons: skimpy on sauce, but Erick quickly brought me more sauce on request. Bread was so-so white. Can't get freshly grated cheese.

Love the Old School decor (pun definitely intended). The food isn't as good as it used to be, other than the desserts. They charged my girlfriend $0.50 extra for chopped onions on the salad and on her birthday, a real dick move on their part... Service was slow, but our server was a very sweet girl. Parking is a bit of a pain in the ass, but the place is easy to find. Don't really recommend this place. The portions are too much about quantity, not about quality. It used to be the other way around. The desserts and the bread are still good, service is touch and go, and these morons charge extra for the most trivial thing.
