We decided to pop in here to dine Saturday night on 2.18.23. The wait was less than 10 minutes for an available table. We were then escorted towards the back area. The restaurant seemed very nice and open and there are plenty of tables available for large gatherings for celebrations like a birthday, which we noticed not far from us. Our server was very attentive and informed us he would be with us. We glanced over the menu. Hubby ordered us a pitcher of the tropical sangria. Our order consisted of calamari, I had the chicken floretine, and hubby had the southern platter. The food was okay, I was not that thrilled with the tomatoes in my dish. The tomatoes tasted watered down and not roasted, which threw off the taste of the dish. It took the natural flavor of the cheese and sauce of the dish away. If I could add salt, I would. I took off 2 stars for the restroom. When I entered, I immediately walked out after looking at a few stalls that were dirty, covered in urine and toilet paper. I would've photographed, but I would rather spare other reviewers. We just might come back and try their brunch special.
Clean restaurant, nice atmosphere, large portions. Friendly service. My dad was happy with his veal marsala he said its the 2nd best he has ever had and he gets it anywhere he can. I don’t eat veal, so Ill take his word for it. I had the eggplant parmigiana, Ive never had slices of eggplant so thick before, or deep fried. I think pan friend or baked would have been better, I also think their is a little too much sugar in their pasta sauce but to each his own taste. The crab dip was good, wasn’t the same as a few years ago and its a little spicy now. The bread was perfect for crab dip.
I hadn't been to Olive Tree in quite a few years. I was surprised at the upscale look, beautiful bar area with an unbelievable number of TV's, and spacious dining area. There also was an impressive 'wall of wine'. There were 15 of us and they handled our group quickly and courteously. Everyone in the group raved about their meals so we were full and happy. If you are in the Glen Burnie area looking for a great place to eat, you won't go wrong dining here.
I have never been here before but I came here for lunch meeting. Everyone at the table got the crabcake. It was one of the best crabcakes I’ve had in a very long time and I pride myself in being a good judge of crabcakes. This had amazing lump and backfin and there was no filler and no overpowering season. The crab meat spoke for itself. I can’t speak to other things on the menu but the crabcake will bring me back again. We arrived early for this meeting so I had a chance to see the place while it was almost completely empty. Nicely decorated and it was very clean. I recommend this location for lunch and I can recommend highly the crabcake
My husband and I came here for date night and it was such a happy surprise. The service from Laura was great and the food was absolutely delicious. We shared the margherita flatbread, which had a little more olive oil than we would like on the regular, but the flavor was so fresh we were ok with it. The eggplant parmigiana was literally the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich and he said it was his top 3. We’ll definitely be coming back.
2nd review on this location and it was a positive experience today. Food was delicious and service was great. My Chicken Alfredo in cream sauce was mouth watering to look at and tasted even better. My wife's Blacken Chicken was seasoned beautifully and very juicy till the last bite. I generally dislike places that are hit or miss each time we visit, but this restaurant is well worth the risk due to higher possibility of great food and service vs meh at best like our last visit.
I can't believe I live so close and it was my first time here! Everything was beyond perfect! The service, food, portions....will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
Spent friend's birthday here on a Thurs evening around 6pm and there was a healthy crowd but not jam-packed. Great staff; they really take care of you: Very attentive without being obtrusive or intrusive; professional + friendly. Clean, beautiful restaurant. Food came out hot & fabulous in less than 15-20 min. Nice vibe not too loud. Chicken Parm & Seafood Pasta dinners were absolutely Delicious. Decent portions; had enough to take home for another meal. Some of THE Best Homeade Garlic Breadsticks EVER; nice & warm, buttery, soft & golden w/a little crisp on the outside. Salad looked great with a house dressing, very fresh; just the onion turned me off would have liked to have been asked if we wanted red onion. Salad & Breadsticks brought to table immediately. Cool ambiance; especially love the wine racks along the walls along with nice art & decorative plants. Good for date-nights and family dining. Not Cheap nor Expensive; somewhere in-between and quite reasonable prices for the Quality & Portions you get. Like a cross between upscale & casual here; anyone will feel comfortable. Friend and I had a good time and they enjoyed their birthday meal so very much, Thanks.
Do not EVER ORDER for delivery - or they will send you the food customers must’ve returned in the restaurant. Chicken was over cooked & bread was clearly burnt! Just terrible!!! I’ve eaten here a few times before & had great experiences but this is a lesson learned!
My husband and I ate here on a Thursday evening for an early 4:30PM dinner. They weren't too crowded and the atmosphere was very nice. Tables were spaced far apart and parties were seated away from each other when possible as opposed to seating parties right next to each other. The food was very good. We were immediately impressed by the complimentary salad and breadsticks that they give out to every table. The bread sticks were nice and airy and were seasoned well. The salad had lots of ingredients. We ordered the bang bang shrimp egg rolls off their specials menu, grilled shrimp naples, a southern platter comes with a small piece of veal parm, lasagna, and manicotti, and a canoli. Most of the food was great. However, The canoli was a bit soggy and for $7.25, i'd expect to get at least two instead of just one. But the filling was delicious. We were a bit disappointed that they had run out of their tiramisu. We were told that it is very popular and they often run out. However, we were there at the beginning of dinner time, so we felt they really should've made more if they run out so early in the day. Perhaps we'll get to try it another time. Our waitress also mentioned that they used to serve creme brule for 25 years, but it was recently removed from the menu. I definitely would've ordered that if it were still available. Overall we were very happy with our experience here. The food came out quickly probably too quickly since we could barely touch our salad and egg rolls before the main courses arrived. The service was friendly and attentive, and the manager was very nice and fun to talk to. We will definitely be returning. Hopefully the tiramisu will be there. And hopefully someday they will even bring back their creme brule!
