Love the Omni Homestead.  It’s old style Virginia grace and style.  The spa and the serenity garden are a MUST.  The zip line tour is super fun. The guided hikes and/or the self directed hikes are worth every moment.  Whether you are sitting in the grand lobby listening to their pianist while drinking your favorite beverage or playing pool or eating a speculator meal in the main dining room, you will love this place.  The breakfast buffet should not be missed.

Nice place to visit with your family, friends ,even with coworkers. Neat , clean, nice environment.  I personally recommend Jefferson's Rest for nice dinner and Martha's for a casual lunch with friends. And when in Season go to Allegheny Springs (is the restaurant/bar in Pool area) ... delicious menu . 
And Homestead had it's own Chef's garden... so you can imagine how fresh our food is.

Attended a conference and was delighted with the impeccable service, quality of dining options and the accommodations.

Plenty of extra curricular activities: spa, massage, golf, pool, hiking, horseback riding and more.

Rooms are spacious, decorated beautifully.  Bathrooms are large, water hit and pressure good.

Great shopping in the resort, quaint shops for every liking.  Game room, multiple bars and plenty of nooks to have conversations.

Great thing about the resort us that they are very organic, make their own butter and preserves.  Good is fresh, natural and delicious.  Planning to come back with family for a great weekend getaway.  Recommend you do the same.

Very expensive.  $6 for a bowl of cereal.  Staff was was very nice.  $10 a night for parking. Reminds me of the shinning.  Room was ok, bathroom was cramped.  Room had a big balcony which had great views.  The walk to town was short and you can cut through the hotel.  Steep ramps on the floor which makes pushing or pulling luggage up was a struggle especially if your older.

A FABULOUS place for vacation! Beautiful resort, fantastic service, wonderful spa and so many activities from zip lining to snowboarding, hiking, horseback riding and my favorite, sporting clays. If you decide to do the shooting range, ask for Frady as your guide! He was great with beginners and experienced shooters alike. Can't wait to go back in April.
