Impeccably maintained century-old hotel in a beautiful lake setting. A huge veranda overlooks the lake and is filled with comfortable rocking chairs. The included breakfast buffett is scrumptious. My only complaint was the bed, which sunk in the center.

star hotel on the lake. Good food and the building is in great shape and well preserved. The hotel is well run and the staff is very professional. Beautiful grand old hotel with a tasteful modern bar and gas fireplace on the grounds overlooking the lake.

A Beautiful hotel that's well worth at least one night in the lavish settings. It keeps the feel of the 20's with the amenities of today.

Nice resort.  Overlooks scenic Lake Otsego.  Have been coming here for years.  Resort closes for the Winter, but the bar/restaurant stay open with great food, and pretty good drinks.

We went for dinner with our family.  Granted, in the summer and after a long day of baseball.  Reservation was for 8 (when we arrived).  Waitress came by about 810 to take drink order.  Drinks arrived at 830.  "Be right back...."  At 845 we hunted down the waitress to order.  At about 9 someone casually came by to bring bread.  At 930 we asked for a manager regarding our food who said it was just coming out and walked away.  Food finally arrived at 945.  No apology, nothing.  While the food was good - I could never recommend to anyone who doesn't want a 2.5H dinner
