We had dinner in the bar area on a somewhat busy Sunday night. I had Caesar to start, beautifully cooked steak with killer garlic mash and delicious dessert(all part of a 3 course option). Everything was great. Service was timely and there was no wait for the food or clearing of the table. It was a great experience. We were served by Liv and she was great too!

Went for lunch with my dad on a day we really needed a break. We got great service from Kennedy, our server. The upper patio was nice and shaded. The food was good and I'd eat there again. I went in from the hotel side to check in for seating and it wasn't clear whether you could check in at the hotel front desk or not so I wandered to find the main hotel- could have been better marked at that outside door.

This was our second visit to  the Parlor Inn. My wife and I were were surprised by an upgrade by the hotel from a regular room to a suite. This was a a gift from the hotel for our anniversary. The room was amazing as was the service, when we came back after the theater we found a long stem rose on our bed. What a wonderful touch. I would also take advantage of the breakfast vouchers they cost $13.00  but you end up saving in the long run in the dinning room  on your bill. Another smart idea on the Inns part. Also the staff will take care of your every need in a warm professional fantastic manner. You will also have a driver to to take to and from the any theater.No worries Just sit back back and relax. Anyway that's it don't hesitate book a room and enjoy being treated with great hospitality like it should be done,

7:30 pm reservation on a Monday night. Quiet and great ambiance. Greeted with someone who gave us water while we waited for our other guests.

Waitress finally came back to take drink orders about 15 minutes after guests arrived. And we ordered a bottle of wine which took another ten to fifteen minutes to arrive. 

Water needed refill but we had to do that ourselves.

Finally she came back to get our food order. This only took 15 minutes to come out. It's a good thing she got our order correct because she didn't come back to check and see if everything was okay. Also had to top up our own wine.. 

Empty played sat on the table for upwards of twenty minutes. She took a couple away and left some for another ten minutes.

Then she took our coffee order. Coffee was hot and great.. must have been because she picked, roasted and hand grinded the beans herself. After coffee, we waited and waited for the bill. Finally got out at 10pm.

The service definitely soiled my experience :(

Edit: it's bad enough that I normally would have said something but I was meeting the boyfriend's parents for the first time and it wouldn't have been polite to make a fuss. Luckily for April, I didn't pay or leave the tip.

Very good service. Nice place. The won ton nachos are delicious! Sharing them between two people would definitely have been a sufficient meal. We also shared the fish and chips, which was pretty good. Would definitely go back for the nachos again!
