This place is terrible. I bought a car from this place for $6400 a month ago and they told me the car had no problems. Then 2 weeks later I saw the oil light and went to the mechanic. He told me the car needed another engine. I called them again and the treatment was terrible. Now I don't have a car. This is the worst treatment ever.
I have been shopping there over 20-some years. There are other middle eastern groceries in the Brunswick area, but this is the best one in my opinion. Good quality products in a clean and well-organized store. What sets them apart is how warm and helpful the owners who take turn running the store. Everyone, not just middle easterners, can enjoy the high-quality cold cuts, cheeses, breads, jams, olives, baked goods, spices and frozen meals. The baked goods are beyond good and make wonderful gifts. Arabic and Turkish coffee blends beat almost anything you would find in a supermarket. It is a hidden gem in North Brunswick.
The way to go for your lebanese products. Especially the bread. Love this store.
This is the best place I know of to find middle eastern foods. I've been a few times now, and the staff have been friendly and helpful. We get everything we need for Lebanese and Syrian meals and treats.
Has everything you would need from a Lebanese grocery store.
They have everything you need and are very nice and helpful. The same family has been running the shop for years. The pita bread is very fresh, as are the spinach and meat pies, available on weekends.
I have been going there for years, never disappointed
This is a quaint little store that is family owned and been a staple for getting my family's middle eastern groceries for as long as I can remember--more than 15 years. The shop is always clean, the staff is always friendly, the prices are very fair, the store/parking is easy to get to, and if you are there in time on the weekends the pita bread is hot and freshly baked from the sister bakery across the street. If you are middle eastern/egyptian like I am, and from the area it is likely that you already frequent this store. If you aren't and want to branch out your palate to some of the best cuisine in the world, this is where you will find your building blocks.
This is a great place to get whole wheat pita bread, inexpensively. Also, the only place I know to get a can of pureed chick peas with pureed sesame seeds, to which I can add olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic and paprika to make hummus dip, which I eat with their pita bread. A can of their pureed hummus ingredients only costs $1.25 and makes two batches of hummus, each of which is good for 3 people. And they have all kinds of dried fruit, pistachios without shells or salt & many kinds of olives. It's a great place for middle eastern food, very affordable, and run by Lebanese Christians. And I love their spinach pies, stuffed grape leaves and small, stuffed peppers. Quite excellent, for at least the past 27 years that I've been going there. They speak Arabic, they eat Arabic food, and yet they are Christian, like millions of people today in the Middle East, the place where Jesus was born, raised, preached, and died-in what we call the Middle East, today. And some of this food in the Middle East was around thousands of years ago, before Arabic was spoken in Lebanon, before Jesus was alive-timeless Middle Eastern food from the many civilizations and peoples that have lived there-quite excellent, interesting and healthy food of which many of us Americans know very little. Come check it out, this is a great place to explore real Middle Eastern food, like Evelyn's Restaurant on Easton Avenue in New Brunswick-you will love it!
They are friendly. Very good quality Mediterranean food Egyptian and Lebanese. The store is very clean that's why I drive 45 minutes to an hour to buy what I need. Thank you for a great service.
