Not for everyone. Dive style bar, but unique types  of sound on different nights.  Underground stiff on Wednesdays, hip hop on Saturdays.

Pleasant surprise to drop in for a quick lunch and a fantastic burger and tasty salad. Great service. Clean.

This is hands-down my favorite bar with a dance floor to go to in greater Boston. I must note though that the this place is many different places at different times. On weekend mornings its the official Liverpool soccer meeting space in Boston, on weekdays at night it's drum & bass, and on Friday and Saturday nights it's 80's music and top 40's. The weekend is where it's at! 

Where do I start? The bartenders and bouncers are friendly, the people who go there are approachable and friendly, the music is a blast to dance to (there is a bench on the right side of the bar you can stand on like a stage), the dress code is nice but lax as well so you can wear whatever makes you comfortable. 

Unlike the pretentiousness you may find in certain parts of Boston, people who frequent this place are laid back almost all of the time. Central square is great and this is the best place there. 

I've probably been to Phoenix Landing over 30 times and I'd say I've had fun every time! Great places to meet friends, dates, and to bring your friends!

Food wasn't great. They used liquid cheese on the nachos. The order was wrong the first time they brought it. My buddy said his gravy fries were good.
