A practice facility featuring five separate putting greens, a two-sided driving range and a complete short game practice area is available. The Pines course at Grand View Lodge on Gull Lake (located at the main resort centre) is a well-rated and pleasantly testing 27-hole layout. This tree-lined parkland course, comprising the Lakes, Woods and Marsh nines, should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

Classic Minnesota north country resort in the grand old tradition.  But with many modern conveniences like WiFi and excellent tv's and DVDs in rooms.  We visit in winter and take advantage of their cross country skiing rentals, snow shoe rentals, ice fishing services, great food and the spa.  Service is excellent.  We've been coming up here every year for more than 10 years and they have kept up the charm and their standards.  We love this place!

The course is a nice layout. A combination of different challenges. As a member I thoroughly enjoy this course and The Preserve both outstanding courses that Grandview has to offer.

It's a really nice course, and was in pretty solid shape. Only 3 stars because of the absolutely brutal amount of horseflies. I went 2 straight holes on the Marsh 9 where every single shot I had a horsefly either on me other buzzing in my ear. I don't know how much they can do about it, but it makes for a really unpleasant round.
