We made a quick stop here on our way up north, and I’m so happy we did! The staff was kind, and the food was delicious! I got the veggie omelet and a side of fruit (my eyes were bigger than my stomach). My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito, and he said it was ONE OF THE BEST HE’D EVER HAD. The coffee was delicious as well. Not to mention, I am pretty sure ALL of the baked goods were made in-house. I would highly recommend trying this place out!!

Wow! What a surprise. House made pastries and flavorful coffee. We also grabbed a breakfast burrito (served with amazingly crisp potatoes) to go for the airport. Everything we consumed was delicious. Between two of us, we ate three pastries: the bacon, artichoke, Asiago croissant; the blueberry scone; and a cinnamon roll. They were all superb. Do not pass this place by if you're headed up or down Highway 1.

Used to be great but declining :( Today's French onion grilled cheese was a disappointment. The onions were not caramelized - they were barely sauteed and still crispy. The cheese was just soft and not really melted. The last time I was here the cheese was also not actually melted and the artichoke "dip" was literally artichoke hearts with a big glop of melted cheese on top. There was no actual dip but the cheese was indeed melted. It's too bad because the menu is fantastic and it started off great, but the cooks either don't understand the terms used on the menu or they just don't care any more. Don't get me wrong - I'll keep coming - but it's because I can't resist grilled cheese, and I'll keep being slightly disappointed.

Great food, quaint atmosphere, always bustling with happy regular customers. A great locals place!
