Pass by all the other places and save yourself the hassle: this is the place. Bar: This is hands down the best bar in Philadelphia, with the finest bartenders. True pros with old school skill and wit. They are where you are wherever you are that evening. Pros who I would invite home to dinner. And the crowd is all of humanity. Food: From bar menu to full celebration dinner The Prime Rib is at the top of its game. Truly the finest Prime Rib you will have. And if you want to go non-meat the seafood dishes are unsung heroes. The Prime Rib sandwich, Coconut Shrimp, and kobe pigs in blanket are unmatched "bar food" that would b the main courses at other restaurants. As Hyman Roth said: "So...enjoy..."

This place has really gone downhill. The food was ok, but the service was horrendous. Basically the servers don't care. The bathrooms are dirty. The Prime Rib which they were known for is nothing like it used to be. Mine was overdone to the point only half was edible. The crab cake app was good. They couldn't even make a decent Moscow Mule. They need to take a course from Steven Star on how to run a restaurant.

I have always enjoyed Prime Rib. Garth, the self proclaimed saloon keeper, runs a tight ship. Service is always spectacular. The live piano is a bonus. I never hesitate to bring business or family here. Try the prime rib for sure or the crab imperial for a change. Sides are served family style. Business casual dress code. Keep it classy.

Not what it was hyped up to be. I've never had a lobster I couldn't cut with a steak knife... until I ate here. The Prime Rib was super tender though. I would recommend staying away from seafood and focusing on steak here. Also, for how "upscale" it was, I was surprised by how long it took to get a drink refill. Another place in central phili that wants to seem fancier than it is.

Let me start by saying I know a steakhouse isn't the place to go for vegan food. I came for a friend's birthday and he absolutely loved his steak, said it was one of the best in the city. However many of philly's fine dining restaurants have an interesting vegan option, often not on the menu. At the prime rib all they could offer me was basically a plate of steamed vegetables with no seasoning. My waiter was probably new because he seemed overwhelmed and unsure about the menu. He also brought me some of the wrong items. Who in Philly has never heard of broccoli rabe?? Good option for meat-eaters though.
