Often times I'm the only person of color when I come in.  It's country music, mostly Caucasian and they don't make me feel any different.  I get hugs everytime i walk in.  I love the acceptance, the family hospitality.   I encourage visiting here.  The jukebox is open to everybody!   Gay and straight as well.

The Pump is great for after-work drinks with friends.  The bar staff at happy hour is somewhat slow, and not because they're super busy.  But they eventually get to you.  It's a very laid back place.   The owner often comes over to chat with us.  I can have a cigar without being frowned at from the other patrons. The music is waaaay too loud for my taste, tho.  I'd rather have conversation.
