Story

The Queen’s Residence B&B is an historic manor house with an abundance of pleasing social areas. Our hotel includes two downstairs parlors, a beautiful dining room, an upstairs library, brick-walled courtyard and large veranda. While you’re here, explore The Wild Turkey Traveler’s Tavern, an original 1700’s colonial tavern in the basement of our hotel.

We know you have many options when visiting our town. At the award winning Queen’s Residence our guests are treated like royalty. We greet all guests at the door by name, and take care of all your needs. After a relaxing night in one of our 5 unique rooms you will be served a delicious 3 course breakfast in the morning.

We’re in an ideal spot for a weekend getaway or a place to stay when visiting Eastern Michigan University or The University of Michigan. We hope you’ll stay with us when you’re in Ypsilanti.

A beautiful B&B!
The Bed - The place is well kept and has the comforts of home. Joe and Marla are awesome hosts - there when you need them. The rooms are huge, comfortable and well decorated.
The Breakfast - Most definitely the highlight! Marla is an incredible chef. Everything is fresh and DELICIOUS. From the homemade croissants to the frittata made with fresh basil. Outstanding!
I highly recommend staying at The Queen's Residence for your Ypsi or AS trips.

The owners are lovely and really go out of their way to take a of their guests, the food is fantastic and the house is a lovely Victorian residence with real character

Everything about the Queens Residence is terrific from the marvelously appointed bedrooms to the tavern in the basement. Loved it!! Breakfast was banana French toast with sausage. Yum! Our hosts joined us for great conversation and stories about the history. We also took a nice walk through the lovely neighborhood of historic homes.
