We have visited on several occasions for lunch local farm fresh ingredients authentic well prepared meals please note this is a cash only restaurant I recommend you take a walk on the very well manicured cape may point park after lunch you can bring well behaved pups for outdoor seating   – Cape May Point offers a quiet and tranquil park direct across the street from the Red General Store Restaurant. This quaint restaurant is a hidden gem located at 500 Cape Ave in Cape May Point NJ 08212. You can bring your small dog with you and site outside or have a lunch or dinner in this reconditioned general store. After lunch enjoy a slow walk aroend the meticulously kept park in Cape May Point.

Had an incredible experience at The Red Store for dinner.  My girlfriend and I have spent time and dined in some of the "best" food scenes across the country.  The Red Store truly blew us away.  Every course, the ambiance and the staff - all perfect.  We will be back and would HIGHLY recommended to any/everyone.

I love this place. I go all the time in the offseason. I love the different dishes, the portion size is really very good, really good service.

The best food by far. The evening was fabulous. The service made everything even more special. What a wonderful place to celebrate our 24th anniversary. Thank for having such a special place

Great coffee and fantastic food. We didn't know we were staying so close to such a gem until our last day. We showed up without a reservation but they managed to fit us in for brunch. A bit pricey, but delicious and worth it.
