There is an awsome atmosphere in this place! The food is great and locally sourced when avaiable (something I'm in love with). They have a few options for bottled beers and an awsome sodas. Loads of meeting spaces and a play room for the kiddos.

My boys and I frequently have lunch and playdates at Refuge. The food is excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is amazing. This is one of Carlinville's hidden gems. It's a wonderful place to enjoy lunch or a beverage while your kids play with the little kitchens, toys, or on the Step 2 jungle gym!

Loved this coffee house.  Good coffee and cheesecake.   The girl that waited on me was super nice and very knowledgeable.
