Story

The Ridge is the new sister restaurant to Mudtown in Cahaba Heights. Like Mudtown we offer great food in a laid back, unpretentious, neighborhood atmosphere. The burger is king at The Ridge, but we have something for everyone from our triple decker Ridgeline club, to a mouth watering Ribeye, to our fresh and healthy Spinach Salad. Coat & tie, or flip-flops and tank top, everybody's welcome, even the kids!

The food was really good. Service is lacking, though no fault of the servers themselves. No host or hostess, servers had to handle seating people as tables cleared out. So the servers seem overloaded. No silverware on the table when we were seated, and then had to wait for silverware to be washed after we got our food. Also had to wait 10 minutes or so for our check to be paid because the server was too busy to come back by to pick it up.

Again, the food was good, but just don't go when it's busy because the servers are spread too thin.

Went for the first time, and I had the pasta with shrimp, chicken and conecuh....It's the CLOSEST to my favorite pasta dish from Gulf Shores minus the crawfish! Great atmosphere and service, will definitely go again!

Cool place but was too expensive for what you get. Bar food for 15 dollars a meal. I got the Jam Good Bacon Burger which was fine. Asked for medium rare but was cooked more like medium well. Menu says cooked to order but everyone who got a burger all seemed to be cooked the same. Spent 37 dollars for a burger and tacos, no drinks.

My pimento cheeseburger was incredible! The teenagers love this place because of the fun decor and location.
