This is an amazing place. My hubby and I got to New Orleans early and our room wasn't ready. We upgraded to the Concierge floor. Highly recommend! Danielle was so sweet! Loved everyone in there! The location is perfect and the jazz in the Davenport Lounge is top notch. We do not want to leave as the hotel, amenities and staff are fantastic! Thank you so much!

My husband and I stayed in the Club Level. Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating but unfortunately there were a few staff members who were not as friendly to us { we are African American}. I want to mention that Terrence always greeted us with a huge smile and was very helpful. Janis, Christina, Danielle and Charles were also pleasant and attentive to EVERYONE, which was very much appreciated. On the other hand Russell and Deidre were obviously more friendly and attentive to Caucasian guest. This was very disheartening and put a little damper on my trip. My room was nice and the Spa service was exceptional. I would have definitely given this hotel 4.5 stars if it weren't for the staff members that treated us sub par.

We are currently spending our first anniversary here in New Orleans and picked The Ritz Carlton for our hotel. The location of the hotel is right on Canal St with plenty of restaurants and stores in walking distance. You can pretty much walk to any place if you have the right shoes, but you can also take the trolley. Upon arrival to the hotel the valet was friendly and let us know a bit about the city. The lobby and front desk are located on the 3rd floor which was a bit confusing if you weren't told. The front desk was great and upgraded us to a garden view, which the view in this town are nothing special. She helped us with some recommendations and wished us a happy anniversary. The rooms are a normal size and clean. I don't have much to say about them, they just get the job done. So far the Ritz is lovely and we will keep coming back to them.

Decent hotel with beautiful rooms. Pricey, even for the French Quarter - as you would expect for a Ritz Carlton. Overall the service was good although the reception desk was frequently crowded and I had a 10 minute wait at one point for a simple request. This place is very similar to the Roosevelt around the corner.

M-Bistro was a nice experience. Good food for a decent price. I had the 3 course August Deal which was worth it. The food like most of the food in New Orleans was relatively salty but not a deal breaker. Beignets were top notch.
