Absolutely delicious, worth every penny. wish I had gotten and extra side of rice. Will go back soon to try other things on the menu.
Consistently fantastic. Some of the best Indian food I've had stateside, and without a doubt the best butter chicken I've had. Order it spicy, the extra flavor is worth it. Also, the samosas are great. Not too expensive compared to some other local joints, too.
My best friend ordered this for me as a surprise for my birthday- and it’s AWESOME! My new go-to! Great prices and delicious, spicy food. Love the curry, Korma and many appetizers we have since tried. Flavorful & satisfying all around.
The food is great and the owner is extremely knowledgeable about food allergies. The only negative is not with the restaurant but the state of Connecticut and how hard they make it on small businesses. Before the Corona Bologna this place had a really great lunch buffet which is now no longer due to CT regulations. Dietary restrictions: Many items are gluten free and if you're not sure the owner will know.
I loooooooooved their food! Omg! Absolutely loved their food!!! And I can't wait to eat there again. I ordered curry chicken! It came in a circled plastic container and the basmati white rice was also in a similar container. They provided me with a plate, fork and a spoon! The wait time is approximately 15-20 minutes, hence 1 star being taken off from this review, but I would've given them a 5-star rating for sure just for the food quality. If you're in a hurry and need to get back to work, then you should either call ahead if they allow this or plan to take a longer lunch. Other than that, excellent restaurant and very clean. Thank you Royal Punjabi!
Surprise Gem in the center of Rose City! Chai Tea- Yes! Veg Pakora- Could’ve skipped it, but it was fine. Garlic Naan- Also skippable for its texture and oiliness, but yummy nonetheless. Veg Biryani- Holy Moly! Delicious, spicy, abundant: must order again! Saag Paneer- Perfection! Flavorful, light, and yum! All in all, I’ll hit this place up when I’m in the area, but I probably won’t go out my way to pay tribute to The Royal Punjabi.
Awesome food. My supervisor bought dinner for the management team. I was instantly hooked. Very small dining area but huge taste.Food: 5/5
Went for the Tulip festival and stopped at this place , glad we chose this place. We had quick Appetizers - Aloo Tikki chaat, Garlic Noodles , Indian Curry Chicken Wings, Salty Lassi and Indian Chai. Difficult to say which was better than the other. They all were delicious.. Will plan a trip specially to have full meal at this place.. And very happy to see they creating awareness regarding good cause and educating regarding Sikhism
Absolutely fantastic food! The price wasn't bad and the staff was really friendly. I ordered the extra spicy chicken curry and was impressed by the level of heat and the astounding flavor. I'm very pleased with the service I received!
Typically when I try a new Indian food place, I order the spiciest level and I still receive my food mildly spiced. This place was one of two places I've ever been to that gave me spicy when I ordered spicy - and it was VERY good.
