I go here because of the knowledgeable service not the glitter of the store or his personality. He looks at my shoes, brings out 2 or 3 pairs of shoes, helps me try them out and gives me time to walk and run in them. Every time I go in I end up with a great pair of shoes for running.

No one knows their shoes better! I've been coming here to get my shoes since high school. In all the time I've been coming here, nothing has changed about the store. Including the expertise! (Yeah, the store's a little messy, who cares?)
You'll never second guess the shoes you get here. They can tell by your old running shoes what will work best. You end up saving time because you don't have to try on every shoe in the store.

They deserve all 5 stars!

Don't judge a book by its cover! The store doesn't have the glitz and the pizazz of some of today's more modern shoe stores, but John Vitale, the owner of the store, is a world class runner who has done the Boston Marathon and has won the Manchester Road Race. He really knows his stuff. From the serious runner to the casual walker, he will put you in the right pair of shoes!

Great customer service, convenient, straight forward and now I have a fantastic pair of running sneakers with support. I was even shown a way to tie my shoe tighter to help my narrow heal from slipping.
