Been here several times and it is amazing! You get a free soup sample when you come in and they are all homemade. The owners are so sweet and welcoming. You need to stop by and try this place is you want any type of sandwich or soup. And they are pretty quick if you need it or will stop and talk if you want.  I attached a pic of my favorite, the clubhouse!

Jessie & Shirley make you feel right at home the food is awesome she make two kinds of fresh soup everyday.  They close at 2:00pm

The lady at the shop is so welcoming & we loved the food. My husband had the club & I had the tuna sandwich. And the broccoli soup was so yummy.

Owner is very friendly. Food isn’t too bad. Atmosphere is a little uncomfortable due to certain fervent opinions being openly championed. But if that’s your thing then give it a try.

As a Boston born and bred American, it’s truly difficult to find actual authentic Mom and Pops spots on the West Coast, as in can count on one hand the total in California. Had the surprise of my life today when walking into Sandwich Man!! Not only the quality, but the atmosphere!! I immediately felt like I was back in Boston, treated like a friend not a customer, and the Italian sub was UNBELIEVABLE. I don’t say this lightly, but this is THE BEST SUB PLACE ON THE ENTIRE WEAT COAST

When you think of the best of a mom and pop joint this place fits right in. Was greeted warmly when I first came in, and was given a ton of samples to try along with my meal. My sandwich was also delicious. Would recommend to anyone.

New favorite spot, been here twice this week! Absolutely incredible food, the owners are just amazing good hearted people, and their prices are phenomenal they remind me of what things USED to cost!  The bacon, ham and cheese breakfast sandwich literally just made my morning.  I will probably be coming back every week.

Best damn little sandwich shop in town. Food is always delicious, and the sweet spirit of the owners is always present. It really feels like a hidden gem, and I highly recommend visiting if you've never been. You can even get free samples of the daily soups.
