The weather was perfect for a midday meal, and I was keen on a relaxed lunch experience.  Walking into The Sandwich Spot, the small yet welcoming ambiance struck me immediately. It's the kind of place where the simplicity of the setting belies the richness of the flavors on offer. The staff, appropriately staffed for the size of the joint, greeted me with a helpful and friendly attitude, setting a positive tone for my visit.  Opting for takeout, I ordered the #2 'The Dani California Club' on a wheat roll - a sandwich that promised a blend of turkey, bacon, cheddar, and avocado. To complement it, I chose jalapeño chips, hoping for a spicy kick to my meal. The ordering process was smooth, and despite the restaurant being just right in terms of staffing, my order was ready in a surprisingly fast 10 minutes. I'll be sure to return to the Sandwich Spot in the future to correct that oversight.  Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread available and creating something vegan should be quite easy.  Parking: There’s not a dedicated lot for the Sandwich Spot that I could find, but if you don’t mind walking there is on-street parking in the nearby vicinity.

Big, delicious sandwiches, great selection, and really fair prices. This was my first time in and I was impressed. I also really appreciate the fact that they were able to make me 13 sandwiches for a work event with only one hour notice. I will definitely be back! Thank you!!Food: 5/5

I got the chicken in the spinach wrap, with teriyaki and pineapple. It was delicious.  We took our food out front to sit on the sidewalk facing PCH. WE got there just before the lunch crowd came, and it was crowded inside, as the line grew longer.  I would not suggest parking on PCH, in front of the Sandwich Spot, because the line of traffic seemed endless. It took me a long time to get into the parking space. I mean, really long.

Lots of delicious options here for everyone! We love any sandwich on the menu especially on the Dutch crunch roll! so Yummy! We also appreciate that there are salads and gluten free options for our big family! There are a lot of great sandwich shops in the Newport Beach area but The Sandwich Stop has the most options and serves very generous portions!! So glad to have it in CDM!

There was 2 people total in line and took 45minutes to get 1 sandwich, just an absolute joke. I get having a wait if you’re actually busy but this is just insanity. Took them 30minutes before they even started making my sandwich.Food: 2/5

I'm a self-proclaimed sandwich enthusiast, and this place exceeded my expectations. The variety of sandwiches on their menu is impressive. I opted for the Hot  Chick, and it was a mouthwatering masterpiece. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the fillings were generous. Prices were reasonable too. This sandwich store has earned a spot on my regular lunch rotation!
