Since October 2, 1968, The Sardine Factory’s cachet has made dining in our historic Cannery Row setting a tradition for world leaders, sports heroes and entertainment icons. A very nice place you could go to for a fancy meal,  but you don't have to be all dressed up. We just went to happy hour where the service was great,  but the appetizer was tiny.

Simply perfect.... treat your honey to the best. Atmosphere, service and the food is the elite. We enjoy coming here every time we're in town. Many thank you's to Martin and Miguel. They made sure this was a night to remember. Enjoy your time at the Sardine factory, you'll find that once you've experienced it that you can't stop boasting about this place.

A must!! The is food amazing but the creme brulee was the best I've had.  The staff is attentive and friendly.

I ordered calamari steak, prawns, scallops with risotto and asparagus. The "crusted" outer layer of calamari was soggy. The scallops had a strange consistency they were grey ish in color and somewhat gooey. The risotto had the consistency of oatmeal.
The prawns were good. The bread and marinated olives were delicious.
