It's a great place to go to sit on the upper level deck just off Monroe Ave and it's got good specials, pool table, dart boards, a claw machine that plays for real drinks and wicked good bar food with lots of room to sprawl out on 2 floors.
My stomping grounds! I know the owner, Paul pretty well. Food has came a long way over the years. Time for a new pool table!
We had a good time. There was a very mixed crowd, drinks were decent, bartenders were friendly and the overall layout of the bar is comfortable. There's a decent amount of seating and games. There was a $5 cover charge to get in and They don't let anyone in after 1:00 a.m.. I'm not sure why. Parking lot was full as to be expected for a bar on Monroe Ave. I only gave it three stars because the place was dirty. Floors weren't clean, counter and table tops were sticky, bathrooms were disgustingly dirty and the toilets were clogged. Bathroom doors did not shut and every time you went to one bathroom you could see clearly into the other. Overall not a bad experience though aside from the fact that the place could be a little cleaner. I would go back.
Went for adult birthday party in rented upstairs space half. Party and general bartenders were friendly and accommodating, and overall cleanliness and prices were on par with similar well-run establishments of the same type in area.
This is a chill place with games to play like , Jenga, pool. It has a great upstairs area and deck outside for warmer weather. Bar service can be pretty slow because it's understaffed. Good food and I enjoy going there. There's also off-street parking which is a plus.
Service is slow, and often very rude. One rogue floor guy on their security team tried to instigate a fist fight with me. Security is supposed to help make a venue.. secure. Not more dangerous for customers. This place can be fun for a cheap drink, but holy smokes the standard for service just does not meet expectations anymore.
Love the place for the environment. Good to hangout but I asked for a simple glass of a Chivas and the bartender did not know what it was or where it was. From an avid scotch drinker would not recommend but if you want to have a good time, this is the place to be.
If you love scotch and whiskey this is the place for you. Aside from that everything else is as good as the liquor. Food is amazing. Truly excellent bar food. Their recommendations and pairings are second to none for the price. Attracts a great crowd.
Can get crowded but very friendly atmosphere. Has super sized jenga which is really fun. Also some other games. If first floor is too crowded there is a large second floor with pool. In the summer there is a second floor balconey as well. Have had good times here.
The place overall is nice, bathrooms are clean. We were there for the McGregor fight and there was a group of people next to us that were a bit ridiculous. Clearly intoxicated, yet kept getting served. They were getting quite violent with each other, in a joking manner, but one of the men was the worst out of all. Very hostile. In fact, when the fight ended, he flipped the table next to us, where a few people were sitting, and stormed off outside. We advised the security guard on our way out and he could have cared less.
