Waited 45 minutes on a Friday night, but got to quiz some locals about the menu, so that was fine. Had the shrimp and grits-excellent. Hubbie and the in-laws had fried shrimp-also good. Service was friendly and fast once we sat down. We’ll be back.

Stopped here with my parents while on vacation.  It looks like the kind of place that would serve the kind of stuff that the Cisco trucks would bring, and that the food would be tasteless.

I was more than pleasantly surprised when I tried the food. The chicken and dumplings I had, along with the mail and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, and the black eyed peas I had were possibly the best I've ever had. Much better than I have ever made in my life. 

Will definitely be back.

We liked this restaurant so much we ate there twice during vacation.  They have several daily specials that include a meat and two or three sides.  I can't remember if the specials were 7.99 or 8.99.  The greenbeans, cabbage, and tomato pie were excellent.   We had catfish and shrimp which had a light breading and both tasted excellent.   There is also an option to get 3 of their many sides if you don't want meat.  For the people that don't like seafood they also had chicken and many other choices.  This was good home cooked southern meals.

When I first moved to Myrtle Beach 6 years ago, this place was phenomenal. I just went the other day and it had really changed in the last few years. It's ok and I will probably come every now and then, but there are much better seafood restaurant choices in the area.

Always wonderful! Servers are nice. Food is priced nice and I don't think there's a word to describe just how good the food is. Some but not all of the options & desserts change daily.
