The Shack is easily my favorite dinner place for an evening out. The menu varies quite a bit so you never know what is going to be offered (I understand that they sometimes post menus on their Facebook page). I've never had anything there that wasn't great, some things have been amazing, though! The wait staff is, without exception, the friendliest, most knowledgeable I've encountered in our little town. They're all delightful people in my experience. They have their burgers on week nights now and they are pretty darned tasty (what my husband almost always orders, no matter what else is on the menu). If you're ever there and they happen to have the apple fry pie on the dessert offerings, ORDER IT! It's out of this world and comes with is thyme dipping sauce... so good. The only (slight) negative point I might make is the lack of taps (for beer) and no bar for mixed drinks. They do have bottled beer and wine, of course. Even with this point, no doubt, 5 stars in my book!

Unique, delicious food prepared to your order at a reasonable price. Wait staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Such a good experience every time that I bought the t-shirt!

If you haven't been here you are missing out. If you are avoiding it due to size or lack of something you are an idiot. Ian and the crew are awesome. Get in here now!

Ridiculously amazing food. An experience to say the least. This is the place I order food I would never eat elsewhere, because I know it will be cooked creatively and perfectly. Not one dish has been a let down. We love The Shack!
