I can't believe the prices for the amount of food you get at this place! We had looked everywhere for a restaurant in Manchester and the price is alone made us want to try it out. It was amazing! The club sandwich was by far the biggest sandwich I've ever attempted to consume. Fries perfect, fried green beans perfect wings so crispy but not overcooked. Go to this place!!!!
I have been going to shaskeen over many years now. They are consistently always a outstanding place to go. Whether it's to eat or to have a drink. You wouldnt expect their food to be as delicious as it is, for just being a pub. Their chicken tenders are like no other. I've yet to have tenders anywhere that are similar or can even compare. Highly recommend trying shaskeen if you haven't yet! Have not ordered anything that didn't satisfy. I do not hear about them enough! Personal favorite is whiskey ginger tenders or maple bacon . Always outstanding service as well! Staff members all around are 100% always attentive and do a great job!
Went early on a Friday and they were out of four of their “Irish” dishes. Had to settle for a Reuben that was thick and fatty. Food took forever for being as quiet as it was. Our waitress was very nice though. Can’t believe this place has such a good reputation.Food: 1/5
Been here a few times, it's always very loud. Mixed drinks are watered down and expensive but beers are inexpensive and good quality. The regulars get better service than the new people, as the bartender turned her back on us and we had to flag down someone else to get the check. They seem to have live music pretty often though and everyone there seemed nice Parking: Parking spots available right outside the door
The Shaskeen Pub in Manchester, NH is a must-visit for drinks and music! The atmosphere is vibrant, and the live music sets the perfect tone for a memorable night out. The drink selection is fantastic, with something for every taste. Whether you're enjoying a pint with friends or dancing to the tunes, The Shaskeen Pub never disappoints. Cheers to a great time!
Went on a Tuesday night. Appeared to be 1 person tending all the tables and bar. It took about an hour to get our food, and another 30 minutes to get the check. The second half of the meal, their live music performer was kinda mediocre and very loud. Food was pretty good, but chicken tenders for appetizer was quite small; the Thai Chilli sauce for them was excellent however. Chicken sandwich was a bit bland, definitely needed some type of sauce.
Ate here on Saturday night before heading to Boards and Brews down the street. The place was very busy, but we still got a table relatively easily. Atmosphere is great, but definitely noisier than expected. That was mainly due to a couple large groups near us though. The live music added to the already good atmosphere. We were looking forward to trying the scotch eggs, but they make fresh once each week and had already sold out for the week. We both ordered the Guinness beef stew and cannot understate how awful it was! See the picture I've included. It was inedible and tasted worse than it looked which is saying something. I have no idea how they can even serve this slop. It was the worst thing we've ever been served in a restaurant and it wasn't close. The meal was so bad it was comical. We decided not to complain to our server I think her name was Olivia since she seemed to be the only one serving all of the tables and still managed to provide great service. Very impressive! She was working so hard and we didn't want to add any stress to what looked like a very busy and difficult night. I'll probably come back for some great Guinness draught, but there's no way I'm ever ordering food here again. As it was we ended up having chicken fingers at Boards and Brews since we were starving by the time we got there.
Great place..good beer..great staffFood: 5/5
A fun afternoon of a taste of Ireland. Drinks were spot on and service was great. Unfortunately, they ran out of corn beef, mash and scotch eggs...how does that happen when those are staples of the Irish menu!!!???? It's like a pizza joint running out of dough. The bangers were still good. Slainte.Food: 3/5
This place is amazing me and my lady went here to have a few beers and left and it turns out I left my phone and the Patreon of the establishment rain down and gave me my phone what's the best thing ever service is good beer is cold that's all that's important
