I’ve been wanting eat here ever since I saw this place on Diners, Drive In’s & Dives.  I love the story about that crazy college kid building it out of scraps.  I ordered a jumbo sized Shed Sampler so I could have leftovers while I watch the Super Bowl.  I’m glad I did cause I’ll have leftovers for dinner and to make sandwiches for work this week.  The place itself is as awesome and crazy as the guy who started this joint.  The staff were all very friendly and helpful.  My potato salad was amazing.  The Shed is one of the very few places that actually makes a GOOD coleslaw.  The collared greens were really good too.  Both styles of ribs were falling off the bone and had that perfect pink smoke color.  The brisket was pretty good, but nothing to write home about.  The pulled pork was awesome.  The wings were delicious.  I didn’t crack into that half smoked chicken yet, but I have no doubt I’ll be pleased.  The sausage was bomb diggity.  My only complaint is that they put the sauce on the meat for you.  At least they’re not hiding poor quality under the sauce, but I like to decide what I want sauce on and what I don’t.  All in all, I’d go back if I was in the neighborhood, but I won’t drive the 30 miles again just to eat here.

This was recommended to me and I am glad I went. This was the best BBQ I have ever had. The environment is very different.  I don't want to give any spoilers, but the environment does feel a little bit backwoods.  There are a lot of trinkets and funny signs throughout.  If you are looking for a posh place, this is not it. If you are looking for a fun dining experience with a different atmosphere this is a great place to stop. I would very highly recommend this to any non-haughty people.

Great atmosphere, sauce was incredible. Everyone in our party really enjoyed the different sauces but spicy sweet may be the favorite for our group. The ribs were a little fatty but had an excellent flavor. Pulled pork was wonderful, Mac n Cheese was great, turnip greens were phenomenal, fries were fresh (similar to Popeyes style). We will come back next time we are In town for sure!

Food - namely BBQ RIBS - outstanding. Had to be great, that’s what draws your customers. Slaw was equally sumptuous. Sweet potato casserole cannot be beat. Oh, did I mention the sweet potato casserole?  Wait staff, everyone, very accommodating. Can’t wait for next trip that way!!

Awesome, eccentric BBQ place. You'll love the atmosphere and the brisket. I have enjoyed all my food every time I've been there. I treat myself to this place after every test. They had a couple of metal hogs burning firewood at the entrance making the visit that much more enjoyable and making you want bbq, even more.
